David Alnwick Flier – First Draft

This was the first draft of the flyer i designed for Dave. The idea was to make it an interactive flyer, so you had to fold it like a Mad Magazine cover. In the end, although I like the design and the idea, it is not really practical to use as a flyer, so we went with this instead.

Dave Alnwick – Flyer Design

My good friend Dave Alnwick needed a flyer designed for his performances he will be doing at the Edinburgh Free Fringe Festival. This is the second take on the design, the first one looked a bit like this. But I’m quite happy with how these came out.

New Beginnings – Jack Gardiner

Jack is a good friend of mine and asked me to film a video for his entry into Guitar Idol III this year. So i set up two cameras and just filmed him do this in a single take, the cuts are literally just between the two cameras. The kid is a beast. If i told you how old he was, you really wouldn’t believe me. Register to vote for Jack to win.

Valentown

Valentown was entered as part of the 48 Hour Film Competition held for the first time in South Africa. It won in South Africa and was sent to Miami to compete internationally. I was selected to go to the Cannes Film Festival 2011, which i had the privilege of attending. I created the title sequence and the plane flying through the heart nearer the end. Both took me a couple of hours to put together (it’s all we had), so pardon the animation for not being spot on.
